Guild Uniform/Colors:

The Wyrm is represented by two colors – A brilliant crimson for full members (Wyrms), and orange for initiates and newly welcomed members (Drakes).

That said, unlike some organizations who appear to be far more concerned with nicely pleated robes and immaculately polished armor, our ideals are far more powerful than our appearance. To reflect this, guild colors are only required for guild functions or when specifically representing the Order at other functions.

The only exception to the above concerns initiates to the Order, who are required to wear initiates orange (sash/robe/cloak/etc) in order to be easily identified during pre-membership observation. This only applies to initiates being considered for full brotherhood.

The other limitation should be fairly obvious – armor formed of dragonscale is considered poor taste – irregardless of the source.

Initiation/Membership:

Any exhibiting values similar to our own are encouraged to seek an existing member for consideration. Without going into detail, the initiation process will consist of an observation phase, during which the initiate will be observed not only by members, but also by trusted friends and allies of the Order. During this time, Initiates are free to participate in most Order-sponsored events, but will not have access to Order equipment, or possess any say in Order affairs. The key to this stage, from an Initiates perspective, is getting to know our members and beliefs – and showing oneself as someone who can contribute to our beliefs.

Following the initiation/observation phase - when possible, an interview shall occur between existing members and the potential initiate, following this, a discussion will occur between members (with input solicited from outside friends of the guild) and admission and promotion to Drake status shall be contingent upon a 2/3 vote of all members. [Typically the above may take longer than expected, contingent upon attendance to the online interview - a log may be made and posted temporarily to the board to be reviewed and voted on by non-attending members. Obviously we'll try to keep it as short and painless as possible.]

Pending the approval of the guild and the Council of Dragons, an initiate may be asked to perform a task. Upon completion, induction will occur. This phase of membership (Drake status) is marked as the period in which the young member is scrutinized by the Council. [Following admission/drake status, player will receive membership, access to the guildhall and its resources, as well as access to the guild message board, and will be granted a say in guild issues]

The process of rising from Drake to full Wyrm involves a ceremonial ritual whereby the Brother or Sister is fully accepted by the Council – not as a helper or watcher, but as a true equal. Such invitations are incredibly rare - extended only to those demonstrating behavior truly commanding of a Dragon's respect.

[OOC Requirements:
Initiates: Submit a biography/background of the character up for initiation.
Drakes: None, natural progression for passing initiates.
Wyrms: Special. Expressing uncommon Sacrifice on behalf of a Dragon, Heroism, etc.]
